Being a doctor is my vocation and medicine is my great passion. I have been involved with the medical world since I was very young and it has had a significant impact on me. I enjoy helping other people. The desire to do this at the highest possible level drives me to continuous improvement and development.
During my medical studies (2003-2009) I participated in summertime internships in gynaecology and obstetrics at the Municipal Hospital in Ruda Śląska, where I observed some of the best perinatologists in Poland. I also completed a one-year postgraduate training there.
I am currently creating the Microhysteroscopy Subunit at the Woman and Child Health Centre in Zabrze, where I have been working since 2022.
I continue to learn advanced laparoscopy. I have passed The European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery GESEA Level 1 (2022) and Level 2 (2023) certification exams.
For the past two years, I have been training in the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. I perform pelvic and abdominal ultrasound in the diagnosis of endometriosis and adenomyosis.
At first, I was more fascinated by obstetrics and the growing “new life” that was being born. As I progressed in my education, I noticed that I had a particular aptitude for surgery, especially in endoscopic techniques.
During my obstetrics and gynaecology residency at the Katowickie Oncology Centre from 2011-2019, I undergone a one-year general surgery internship at the Hospital Of The Ministry and Administration in Katowice and a two-month breast surgery internship at the University Clinical Hospital in Krakow. I acquired manual skills in classical surgery and the basics of minimally invasive techniques (hysteroscopy and laparoscopy)
After becoming a specialist in 2019, I started intensive training in endoscopic gynaecological surgery. I acquired expert-level skills and experience in hysteroscopy and microhysteroscopy.
I completed internships in:
– gynaecological laparoscopy at the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Centre from 2022 till nowadays
– diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, including laparoscopy, at the Hospital da Luz in Lisbon in March 2023
– laparoscopic endometriosis treatment at Hospital da Luz Arrábida in Porto and Centro Materno Infantil do Norde Unidade de Ginecologia Minimamente Invasiva in Porto in March/April 2024.
Meanwhile, in 2021 I passed the certification exam of the Polish Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and since then I have been professionally dealing with cervical diseases.
I have many goals for the future, and the focus of my work is the well-being of the patients I am taking care of.
